SAE AMSQQA200/16A – Aluminum Alloy, Structural Shapes, Extruded, 6061

this specification has been declared “CANCELLED” by the Aerospace Materials Division, SAE, as of June 2007, and has been superseded by alloy 6061 of ASTM B 221. The requirements of the latest issue of ASTM B 221 for alloy 6061 shall be fulfilled whenever reference is made to the cancelled AMS-QQ-A-200/16. By this action, this document will remain listed in the Numerical Section of the Index of Aerospace Materials Specifications, noting that it has been superseded by alloy 6061 of ASTM B 221.

This specification covers the specific requirements for aluminum alloy 6061 structural shapes produced by extrusion.
